    Bettie Marlow Godwin, founded the Roosevelt and Ruth Marlow Educational and Recreational Foundation and established a community park on land generously donated to this effort by her grandparents Roosevelt and Ruth Marlow, and her mother Essie Bowens.

A BIG thank you to all who attended on Aug 3, and participated in making our 1st Annual " Praise in the Park" Concert a success! Thank you to everyone for your support and contributions to the Roosevelt & Ruth Memorial Park Improvement Fund. The evening ended with a breathtaking double rainbow that illuminated the sky!
