Roosevelt & Ruth Marlow Foundation will facilitate "Youth Ready" workshops designed to benefit youth (ages 14 - 18) who attend school in the Brunswick County and Columbus County area.

Participants will learn essential skills (eg, vocational skills, soft skills, life skills) needed to be successful in the 21st century. Certified instructors will facilitate each session.

The (Saturdays only) 6-week workshops will be held from 9 am – Noon at the following locations:

Youth Ready Workshops

Youth Ready provides guidance for youth to achieve their career and personal goals. The program will introduce youth to career options within information technology, and assist youth in devising a career roadmap. Upon completion of the comprehensive program, youth will have obtained relevant and valued technology-related skills (eg, computer applications) in addition to receive a framework for successfully managing their emotions as well as making sound decisions.
